Over the May bank holiday weekend we will be finding out which animals and birds are visiting the campsite by identifying their footprints.
By using trays of smooth sand, with a tempting treat in the middle, we can capture the prints of our nighttime wildlife visitors. Late afternoon on Saturday 26th May our young campers are all invited to help us set up the trays and find good places to leave them. We will then check them the next morning and see if we can identify the footprints.
We know that we are often visited by shrews, hedgehogs, hares, pheasants and deer. Whose footprints will we find?!
