What a glorious day. At one point I actually had to come indoors to get out of the sun! The irony is that Neel (who unlike me actually knows one end of a hammer from the other) is away for a few days so work outdoors on the first compost loo is temporarily on hold.

Things are generally moving apace however, including the growth of the barley at the back of the meadow. I can’t wait to see it waving in the summer breeze in a few months time.
The extra sun also seems to be encouraging our resident barn owl. If you squint a bit you can see him sitting on his post in the distance.
Let’s hope for some more days like this.
