pizza oven
~

One of the things that I have always wanted to do at Ling’s Meadow is provide courses for people who fancy spending a day outdoors learning a new skill. I am also partial to the idea of home cooked pizza, so this year we are starting our courses off with a one day hands-on event where we will build a wood-fired clay oven and we would love you to come and help and learn how to make one too!

We are very lucky to have Sarah Partridge from Orchard Barn Environmental Education Centre tutoring the course. She has a wealth of experience working with natural building materials and will be showing us how to use cob and clay to create our oven. We will be using clay and straw from the farm!

So if you fancy a day in the fresh air and would like to know how to build your own pizza oven in your back garden come and join us on Sunday 11th May! The day will start at 10am and finish at 4.30pm. Teas, coffees and cake will be provided, just bring a packed lunch with you. You will also need sturdy boots, old clothes and some gloves.

The course fee is £50 (£45 if you live within a 5 mile radius of Ling’s Meadow). We are offering a 10% discount on bell tent or pitch bookings for course attendees who would like to stay on the meadow that weekend. To book or for more information contact Kath on 01359 250594 or email info@lingsmeadow.co.uk.
